I agree - his footwork for that backflip landing was shocking. Needs to be dropped to work on it.

We really got away with it yesterday.

I don't mean the result but the Paqueta goal celebration.

He looks really shit at gymnastics, and, knowing our luck, he'll be a qudraplegic straight after his third West Ham goal

Terrible week ahead for some. We got a point and deserved it. Not much left to complain about.

There are a few sides who've been there and come away empty handed

On the train back with Amanda Staveley. She is taking selfies and telling Newcastle fans they should have won. Deluded.

A great performance.

Which disappoints many.

I have no problem with different opinions. If we all thought the same way lots of things would get done wrong.

What I can't abide is negative, unrealistic moaning cunts like you.

It would be vaguely better if you could write, but you can't even do that well.

Apparently Kehrer just had a tight hammy and went off as a precaution

They also had a massive game Tuesday where they got through to a cup final, and was missing their best players yesterday.

Not saying I wouldn't have taken a point, but some people seem to be forgetting the position we're in. Look at the league table, and if Leeds get a couple of points from their games in hand, Everton do go on a run under Dyche, what other team are we catching?

I reckon we'll be in the bottom 3 after the next 2 round of games, and looking at the table, I reckon the side we could end up catching up eventually is Palace, who are in woeful form and not that far ahead. Although quite a few on here wanted Vieira as our manager!

Just putting some perspective on the 1 point we got, it's not enough when the game was there to be won.

Moyes again with some awful subs.. Settling for a point with 20 minutes left rather than try and win, happy with the point but a risky strategy.

Aguerd is very good, I thought Kehrer was OK and set us on the front foot a few times with good interceptions higher up the pitch, obviously where he's more used to playing in a defensive line.

Paqueta looking good, now he's having a run where he likes to play.. I'm sure the shot he took was going in, nearly took their defenders head off

Very encouraging from performance until the subs

How many trophies has Jose Mourinho won?

Agree with that. I felt it was winnable before the game and even more so during it. Many of their victories were due to a purple patch by Almiron which appears to have ended and they have since stuttered, including losing to Stevenage. Isaak being out was also a factor. I'll take the point but if we'd had Scamacca and a fully fit Ings - and if Moyes hadn't given up with his subs - we'd have had all 3

I thought Antonio put a shift in, to be fair he always does. He went back to help the defense a lot, not sure if he should be doing so much of that? I find his skill always looks a bit out of control and leaves you wondering if it really was his intention. I do agree, it didn't happen for him yesterday.

You're gonna have to tolerate different opinions to your own on here, that's the entire point of the site.

I just think we should try to win every game we play. I know really old fashioned and controversial eh?

I'll leave you to continue your public meltdown, you fucking fairy.

Antonio was back to being "a bit crap" again yesterday.

I dunno if it's just because he was tired from playing on Monday, or if it was the step up in quality, but he was doing a great impression of a statue most of the game.

He needs to put much more of a shift in.

Re: ⚽ Newcastle v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Decent enough point I suppose, but not sure I share the level of positivity. They have won once in their last 5 league games, and scored only twice in that time.
Their starting line up contains Schar, Dan Burn, Willock, longstaff, joelinton, almiron - there isn't a single person on here who would have taken any one of those players if offered them for free this time last year.
Yet we still approach these games like we're grateful to be on the same pitch as them. As Manuel says, it's just pretty fucking boring generally speaking

Re: ⚽ Newcastle v West Ham - Official Match Thread
Paqueta has more than proven his worth in my eyes, not there yet but getting better, good goal when getting wrestled by Trippier and looking generally stronger as the 50/50 challenge with Joelinton underlined.
We showed a bit of character to come back from another piss poor start. If we show the same commitment against Chelsea and the yids we’ve a chance. Aguerd is a class above.

Totally didn’t understand what that bench was about, Moyes is either trying to be sacked or his judgement of what we could need is massively flawed.

Team spirit 9/10
Team performance once we woke up 8/10
Moyes decisions for that bench alone 3/10

I still don't trust Kehrer, makes too many rash poor tackles. I preferred Johnson in the 2nd.
